Week 1

Hi, my name is David Gutierrez. I am from Central Oregon, in Madras. I was born in Salinas, California. I'm 20 years old and am excited to learn many new skills in marketing. Currently I am in the midst of creating my future. It is my second year here at Oregon State and I've never felt more prepared to take on another academic year. Many things are starting to come together in my life. I am seeing strong friendships being built and many doors open for my career. I enrolled for this course to further my skills in the business world. I am extremely focused on creating an appealing resume to apply for good paying jobs. I want to ensure I learn as many skills as possible before I graduate. Marketing being a top skill. I am currently a business management major, but I still see myself going in many directions in business. I am most interested in learning how to read a market and being able to identify what is needed in new markets. I want to be able to compete in new developing markets and run competition out of the race. I am extremely passionate in soccer. Not only playing, but coaching. I have played competitive soccer for half of my life, and have coached for a quarter of it. I find a lot of happiness in spreading my passion for the game along many further generations.
